February 23 marks the fifth annual Student Press Freedom Day, a day of action dedicated to uplifting the work of student journalists and bringing the issues surrounding student media freedom to the forefront of public attention.
Why We Need The Student Press Freedom Act
Unjustifiable censorship, particularly of public interest student journalism, is profoundly antithetical to a free and democratic society and should not be tolerated. The SPFA will prevent it from occurring in BC’s public schools.
